A Contemporary Beach Villa Split Into Two Identical Sections

Seizing the opportunity to take their own weekend house right on the beach where they could spend fourth dimension and relax with their families, 2 brothers purchased a plot in the cute Lido de Jesolo resort town, in Italian republic. Here they worked together with architecture studio JMA to build a modern beachfront villa which they could share.

Because the narrow site merely immune the edifice to have a maximum width of eleven meters, this width was divided into two every bit sized sections. The thought was to create a pavilion-inspired structure with a symmetrical layout, split into two downwardly the center past a central spine wall. The pavilion has a unmarried story above ground but also features a large basement which contains a gym, a sauna, a jacuzzi, a plunge pool, a laundry room, a spacious stainless steel kitchen and a guest area.

This symmetrical layout allows each family to enjoy their independence and offers them the same opportunities. As well, the two sections of this cute beach house are identically furnished. They each have two bedrooms and two bathrooms and mirrored living areas. On the south-facing side of the pavilion there's a zero border swimming pool while on the northern side there's the entry courtyard and a big parking area with space for four cars on each side. This ensures that both families and their guests have separate parking spots without the need to share and interfere with the others. The north facade of the building is completely opaque which offers acoustic insulation from the noise in the courtyard and the street. In comparison, the balance of the facades have glass walls and sliding doors which offer admission to covered terraces and the pool surface area. The basement enjoys a strong connection to the outdoors equally well, featuring sunken patios on both sides.
